Horrifying news from Southport. If you're sitting at home wondering how you might be able to help the victims, donating blood is one way you could help. National blood stocks especially of group O blood are low, and whatever you can give will help.

🩸 Blood shortage Amber alert 🩸 The @NHS urgently needs O type blood. There are over 12000 appointments available over the next 2 weeks that we need your help to fill. If you are an O type donor call 0300 123 23 23 to make an appointment or visit orlo.uk/bPTiE

There will be women tonight dreading their partner coming home. Football does not cause domestic abuse, but it can become more frequent or severe after big games, with reporting increasing by 38% when England lose. Go to womensaid.org.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.
