It was so beautiful and afterwards she told me after that she was going to start playing again now. I told her id come visit her with violet and we’d play in her yard sometimes. 😞 i love the world. 😢 if this isn’t begging to be a hallmark fall special.... haha
My new friend made me burst into tears...she is 97 and lost a son, has no grandchildren and is a former professional pianist who hasn’t played for anyone in years. I told her I’d love to hear her play sometime. She asked if I’d sit (safely) outside her house to listen.

Sooo....We don’t have to DO anything to shift ourselves. And the doing actually disconnects us from being anyway. Just by watching, we are already shifting and allowing our brilliant bodies to figure out what to do. Less effort. More just being. Isnt that always the thing?
There is a law called Heisenbergs law or something (can a science-y person please correct me in comments because i a C in biology and chemistry cool thanks). But basically it says, by the act of observing something, we change it.
Ok ok ok but i do want to share what did finally help me. I remembered to do my work. Which is simply, to Watch. Observe the places my mind goes, watch how my stomach turns, my throat tightens, my jaw clenches. Notice. That’s all.
It’s all good when we’re not being triggered, but the second something really hurts and is personal, our minds go on overdrive to figure it out. And usually don’t help haha. no amount of meditating or intention i was trying would let my little heart rest and not feel hurt.
Do u remember last week when i was all, we choose our thoughts! 🙄 Repeat after me! Yeah...ugh that sht is hard. I didn’t do a great job of it this week admittedly.
