Then why haven't they sued Digimon, Temtem, Cassette Beasts, Dragon Quest Monsters, Ooblets, Coromon, Nexomon, Moonstone Island, Monster Crown, Monster Sanctuary, Spectrobes, etc? In fact, a lot of those games Nintendo has specifically promoted. So maybe it is just Palworld?
Nintendo is not trying to "protect the Pokémon IP" by suing Palworld, they are merely trying to shut down competitors via patent trolling and abuse

Everyone talking about the Palworld vs Pokemon debacle, look here: Pokemon and Nintendo filed for patents to the mounting system and the throw ball to summon and fight system on MAY of 2024, which is AFTER Palworld launched. This is a very low blow to do.
