If you planning to purchase a 2nd property as an investment but need to apply for finance for the full purchase price. One solution would be to increase the bond on your current property while also applying for a mortgage on the new property.
[Did You Know] As a SA citizen or permanent resident, the bond amount you are able to secure can vary between 50% and 75% of the purchase price if you are married in COP to non-SA resident. But, currently we do have one bank that is willing to offer you a full 100% bond
