Yesterday, all of Littlebrook School came together for a photo in celebration of Character Counts Week. Each color represents one of our 6 Pillars of Character. Red = Caring/Orange = Fairness/Yellow = Respect/Green = Responsibility/Blue = Trustworthiness/Purple = Citizenship

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!!! Each day at Littlebrook School, we celebrate all cultures. It is important to share the positive influences each culture has had on society. This month, please help your children learn about the rich heritage of our proud Hispanic Communities.
One of the many special things about Littlebrook School is how the teachers use Positive Psychology to encourage and celebrate our students. Our mascot at LB is Ravioli the Giraffe. Here is one of our second grade displays with goals the children have set.
I asked a student yesterday, "Did you have a great first day?" His response, "On a scale of 1 to 1,000, it was a 1,000!" Let's always remember we are here first and foremost for our wonderful children! Have a great school year!!!

In our efforts to enhance our Social-emotional Learning at Littlebrook School, new Sensory Walks have been added to our hallways. Additionally, we will be using the Character Strong SEL Program across all grade levels. Looking forward to a great year of SEL at Littlebrook!

In morning announcements, we read a quote of the day. This morning, our student announcer, Julian, shared their own quote with me, "Everyone has magic in them somewhere." It's so wonderful to hear such positivity coming from our students! Thank you, Julian! You've made my day!
Yesterday, Special Agent Kimberlee Gautier of the Dept. of Homeland Security gave an impressive presentation on Cyberbullying to our 5th graders. Thank you, Mrs. Gautier! We appreciate you!!!
April is National Autism Awareness Month. This month and every month at Littlebrook School, we celebrate these incredible individuals and their contributions to our school and society.
Students from Mrs. Kozlowski's/Mrs. Greenberg's class created two bulletin boards to celebrate Women's History Month. After researching, they created an informational writing piece highlighting the important contributions these amazing women have made in history.

Pre-K and kindergarten students participated in a parade today in honor of the Lunar New Year. This is an annual event at Littlebrook School. All classes gather in the hallways to cheer on our youngest learners. This year is the Year of the Dragon. Happy Lunar New Year to all!!!
