We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Officer Mark Aker who passed away from a medical event on-duty on May 10, 2023. He joined the department in 1994 and was assigned to the Maryvale Estrella Mountain Precinct. Rest in peace Officer Aker; you will be dearly missed.
