I’m very happy to have met some amazing people in the Pokémon community. I initially started getting back into this as an adult after a move to a new area where I didn’t know anyone. I’ve made some great friends from this and I’m very thankful!
This happened to my partner. The head judge was called, and their opponent was corrected on their pronouns. He mocked it by saying, "Oh yeah, actually, I'm a she," and then went to his group and mocked them even more. No immediate punishment was issued.

I’m gonna be real with you. Culture is as important of a thing as any to a card game team. If they cause issues a lot, especially one severe like this, you need to weigh how much you value their participation vs how much negative energy they bring. The apology helps, but 🤷🏻♂️
