Are you a spoonie? Thanks to @Brainbow_cuh for introducing us to spoon theory to explain fatigue youtu.be/jn5IBsm49Rk #Spoonies

Key learning point from @brainbow_cuh: Instead of asking students with whether they're tired, try asking about their battery level. And then, how they might recharge or share how you recharge so they can prioritise the things that matter to them.

pilgrimpathwaysschool What's the difference between tiredness & fatigue? How do you prioritise education when you're chronically fatigued? How do we support students with cancer to manage fatigue and their education? Thanks to @brainbow_cuh for another fantastic training session.

Subject specialists will oversee curriculum delivery and support students to make progress during their stay and our Teacher in Charge, Sarah, also supports with reintegration planning so students can transition smoothly back into their homeschool's as soon as their health allows

We are looking forward to welcoming the first cohort of students at our new centre at The Beacon. At Pilgrim Pathways, we support students to keep up with their schoolwork or to re-engage with education.
