7 June 1924 six Sherpa & Bhotia porters climbed down from Camp VI on Everest with notes from George Mallory. They carried the oxygen for the summit attempt. Their names were Bom, Nurbu Yshye, Senchumbi, Lopsang Bhote, Lhakpa Chedi and Ang Pemba #Indigenous #History #Himalaya
