I spend my time shocking the world. In my spare time, I do things they said I couldn't do. I also watch and play cricket, which is like the first two things.

One of the great highlights of my cricket reporting journeys. I've just met the @ChickfilA Eat Mor Chikin Cow at the Encino, California franchise location. The Cow is here to celebrate the location's fifth birthday.

Sushant Modani finally falls for 138 off 115 balls, flicking a skied catch to long on taken on a diving effort running in off the bowling of legspinner Adam Khan. Southwest 268 for 2 with 10 overs to go against South.

Shayan Jahangir now taps a single to cover to bring up a 67 ball century. 10 fours and six sixes. Double century stand with Modani continues to grow. Modani had 8 fours and 2 sixes when he crossed three figures.

Sushant Modani brings up an 82 ball century with a single driven to cover sweeper. After a sweep over fine leg for 4, he's dropped on 104 slog sweeping Aaron Jones to deep midwicket where a diving chance is shelled. Southwest 218 for 0 in 25. Jahangir on 99.

Shayan Jahangir dropped on 74 at deep midwicket, horribly misjudged chance by Sagar Patel who came in off the rope only to have to leap at the last moment and have it go off his fingertips over the line. Two balls later another pulled six. Southwest 191 for 0 in 22 overs v South.

Haven't gone to McDonald's for breakfast in at least 4 years. I never paid more than $10 for the same order previously. Now they're charging even for syrup to go with hot cakes.

Check out today's end of play interview from Los Angeles after Day 2 of the USA Cricket Men's 45-over National Championship at Woodley Park with Mid Atlantic Zone bowler Stephen Wiig, who took 5 for 18 in a three-wicket win over East Zone. youtube.com/watch?v=1Xt-Ws…

Discrimination against SA/AUS/SL expats within the American cricket ecosystem?!?! Pshaw! Well, at least if you believe half the men's national team and their claim that Stuart Law is the only person capable of discrimination, and only against South Asians, in the USA ecosystem.

just checked the squads except Shadley Van none of SA/AUS/SL expats who are regular MLC features aren’t in any of the squads of the 6 teams despite completing the residency period. Is it a kind of discrimination or US Cric board doesn’t find them goodenough?

Mid Atlantic left arm pace bowler Stephen Wiig takes the tourney's first 5-wicket haul at USA Cricket Men's 45 over Nationals in LA. Wiped out the East top order with 3 in new ball spell. Then came back later in the middle to get day 1 century maker Achilles Browne + 1 tailender.

Aaron Jones brings up a 56 ball century for South Zone, second ton in 2 days for him at USA 45 over Nationals in LA. Did it with a six over midwicket followed by 4 through point next ball. Gets out on following delivery skying catch to point.

ICYMI: Recap from Day 1 at USA Cricket Men's 45-over Nationals in L.A. where 3 centuries were scored, including a best of 117* by Ali Sheikh, on a day that was actually dominated more by bowlers than batters in late season conditions at Woodley Park. dreamcricket.com/articles/usa-c…
