On this day in 1983, 100 Million Americans tuned in to watch The Day After. This apocalyptic TV movie was a graphic depiction of what would happen if the USA and Russia started firing nuclear weapons at each other. Guess what... it didn't end well. Maybe it's worth a rewatch.
