There is no institutional support for cognitive anthropology (at least in Poland). This website served as my study library for many years. It is now archived and indexed, and I highly recommend it to students.

Excellent three-part essay: scientific and interpretative studies of culture are not in contrast. I agree 100%, I wonder whether it is mostly a practical problem: finding the sweet spot where a "thick enough" description is amenable of a satisfying naturalistic explanation.
