Aontú leader @Toibin1 launching his slate of general election candidates - says the “government are taking the people of Ireland for fools” criticising their claims that they would recruit more gardai and cut VAT for biz

So the OPW spent €1.4m on the security hut. @Toibin1 has uncovered how much they spent on the security for the security hut. €14k for a a very basic security measure known as a "gate". This gate hardly lasted a few weeks before it was removed because TDs didn't like it.

Becky Kealy is our Aontú candidate in Cork North West. She has been knocking on doors and holding public meetings across the constituency. She will put people before politics and she will be a strong voice for rural communities #VótáilAontú aontu.ie/upload/beckyke…

If you want to punish the Greens 🟩 for the damage they are doing to Irish society the best way to do it is to unseat Roderic O’Gorman in Dublin West by voting for Ellen Troy of AONTÚ 🟧 in the election 🗳️

The high octane hyperbolic promises of FF, FG & Greens could not clash or diverge more from the gov't record for the last number of years They inhabit a parallel universe where their narrative is completely divorced from reality

Housing is the No.1 priority for me and my Party. Fianna Fáil is determined to help you buy your own home.

The @AontuIE leader @Toibin1 claims FG pledges today on Gardaí numbers - increasing them by 6,000 - demands that “people erase the last 5 years from their memory.” He says: “Garda numbers have fallen every year Helen McEntee has been in power.” @rtenews

Very interesting results on this poll with almost 3,000 votes. First time I’ve ran this poll where Aontu have been clear winners. 👇👇👇

Becky Kealy from Cork North West was delighted to have the opportunity to contribute briefly on the discussion on RTÉ yesterday. A different approach is urgently needed in the HSE. It is time for change #VótáilAontú

Only Aontú seeks to reform the HSE. All the other parties seek to pour money into a bottomless pit. Aontú wants to reduce the layers of senior management and focus money on the front line.

The government would love you to scatter your vote so thinly across micro organizations and independents, that it does not make a difference. Concentrate your vote on the best organized opposition to the damage of this government. Vótáil Aontú #1

The struggle for free speech at Irish universities continues and in this case prevails. This should not have been a difficult decision though. What kind of student mindset protests against hearing both sides in any debate ?

Major props to UCD L&H for going ahead with the debate! "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

In complete agreement with David Quinn and I think it would be wise for political parties to look at his proposals. Very forward thinking of him. Why should only one choice of #childcare be financed when many parents want to mind their own children in the home. #GE24 #GE2024

As I point out in this piece for @IrishCathNews, the referendums in March have been memory-holed and parents who don't want to put their children into daycare totally forgotten about in #GE24. irishcatholic.com/needed-a-new-d…

It is indeed a national crisis.

the median wait time for a CT scan in Canada was 66 days last year. but the wait time for a government funded suicide though? 11 days. every day on average in 🇨🇦, Canadian physicians and nurses end the lives of approximately 42 people. Why isn’t this a national crisis?

Unfortunately, so many couples are trapped on the daily treadmill of working life just to keep all the balls in the air 100% believe that mothers should have the choice & would love the choice - this defintely warrants serious consideration, development & a national consultation

Given a choice, many families want to look after their own children rather than drop them off at daycare centres in industrial estates, yet no party is offering to support these families. #GE24
