Manny Nneji has declared victory in the race for Ulster County DA, however Michael Kavanagh has said he’s not ready to concede given the number of absentee and affidavit ballots still to be counted
With 100% of precincts reporting Nneji holds a 195-vote lead over Kavanagh Nneji: 23,631 Kavanagh: 23,436
With 145 precincts of 146 reporting Nneji: 23,465 Kavanagh: 23,429
Well there is some confusion at the BOE … the number of districts reporting reduced by 2.
47,000 voters cast ballots today, according the Kavanagh’s campaign
I am told that we are awaiting vote counts from the southern end of the county, including Plattekill, Shawangunk, Rochester.
There has been a subtle, but noticeable shift in the mood at the Brickman
Kavanagh supporters watching the results trickle in (still at 64% reporting)
94 precincts reporting(64%) Nneji: 19,423 Kavanagh: 17,806
With 36 precincts now reporting, Kavanagh is beginning to close the gap11,969 Nneji; 9,972 Kavanagh
21 precincts reporting - Nneji 9,833; Kavanagh 7,540 (I found my glasses!!)
With 21 precincts reporting, Nneji has 9,800ish and Kavanagh has 7,500ish (I can’t see the board because I left my glasses at the office)
