Excellent point I’ve been trying to use iPad for recent illustration jobs and it’s been harder to commit than with analogue - approximating the quirks of physical media with tools my brain can predict more than my hand somehow makes it indecisively quick
I’ve been trying to visualize this for my students for years. Why is it critical to use analog media while you are learning? Digital tools creates fewer opportunities for knowing your voice because it doesn’t teach you how to react to your own decision making in the same way. /1

Finished #NoCountry by @josephobrady and @PatriceAggs today. A terse and moving drama about a family trying to get by during civil war in the UK. Really got me in the gut as a dad, and will hopefully encourage many to look at refugees in an empathetic light.
