As a dad with two basketball playing daughters, what a freaking joy it was to watch these finals with them. I really hope the NCAA and WNBA can keep growing this sport, because that was fun. Oh, and the Lynx got screwed. #stewiettraveled #phantomfoul

I’ve said many times that this is the “unicorn” of AAU teams. There is not one ego on this team. The girls love playing together. They share the ball. They defend as a team and they cheer each other on like crazy. And the only thing each parent does is support kids and coaches.
A client just sent me the attached video and picture. This is from Cross Lake. This is NOT what the insurance industry needs right now.
Wolves will need to find extra possessions this half and limit second chances for Denver. Defend like hell and be aggressive on the glass on both ends. Chip away at that lead. Be in a position to compete at midway of the 4th.
If it was 1988, this picture would become a poster, a poster that would be available in every Spencer Gifts, and every kid would race there to buy it and put it up on their bedroom wall, right next to their Christie Brinkley poster. To whoever took this, great photo.
