When it’s us or someone we love/support, it’s “the favor of God”. But when it’s someone else, especially someone we don’t care for, it’s “unfair”. 😐

At this point, white supremacy isn’t hurting the Black community nearly as much as bad Black leadership. Our refusal to engage those with intelligent, progressive, and strategic methods in favor of toxic loyalties, outdated thinking, and empty rhetoric is the real problem.

Maybe we should stop telling prophets “you know a prophet is not honored in his hometown” and start telling hometowns “you’re foolish for not listening to your prophets.”
