I think this is one of the best episodes of @pablofindsout We sat down, inside a Texas supermax prison, with a death-row inmate: Charles Flores. Who helped us find out about fandom, fantasy football, and forensic hypnosis. And changed how we think 🚨⤵️ youtu.be/JUm2YgmBG1o?si…
Charles Flores didn’t kill anyone. He wasn’t even *accused* of killing anyone. Please listen to the podcast, for the love of god, so that people can understand how death row in Texas actually works
What about the person he killed? How are they doing with their fantasy football team? Maybe a @PabloTorre Finds Out will do a piece on that. I am against capital punishment yet I am against murder. What a paradox we live in!!!
Some people on death row use their last words to shoutout their favorite team: “How ‘bout them Cowboys.” @FlemFile interviewed an inmate on being a sports fan (and playing fantasy football) behind bars. Powerful story w/ @PabloTorre @pablofindsout: youtu.be/JUm2YgmBG1o
I think everybody should take the time to listen to this story. The core human desire to BELONG is incredible and this is put together so well it needs to be in wide circulation. I can't recommend it highly enough.

You don’t have to be a sports fan to appreciate the ton of work that went into this episode of @pablofindsout - the story hits on such a human level. Highly encourage you to listen.
the way dan sold it was honestly how i saw it somewhat initially when it popped up. glad i didnt judge a podcast by a tease because the way the story was told was perfect you were so right to have pride in this work

Maaaan @PabloTorre is so freaking great at diving deep on things I never once considered and making them accessible and resonant. This is fascinating
Why would so many death row inmates use their last words to shout out their favorite sports teams? The answer is heart-wrenching, and will change the way you see them. More with @FlemFile: youtu.be/JUm2YgmBG1o
Ms. Chung is a ICON
The legendary Connie Chung visited @pablofindsout to talk about her career — from getting hit on by Henry Kissinger, to being slapped in the face by Bobby Knight, to making Bill Gates jump over a chair, and more. It was everything I wanted it to be ⤵️ youtu.be/Y3FB6yYXZUg?si…

“I’m still a @dallascowboys fan and I’m going to declare it at the very end, reminding the world what tribe I was from … I’m still human, even though you’re taking my life like an animal, I’m still human, I have a soul…” - Charles Flores

One of the more chilling moments of this ep: when Charles explains how the sane death row inmates are the ones who kill themselves - because you’d have to be crazy to adapt to these conditions…
"Sports for me — especially football — it takes me out of this place." We visited a Dallas Cowboys fan fighting for his life on death row and discovered that, even there, you can still play fantasy football and cook enchiladas on game day. While fighting his case and awaiting…

“And the next thing I know I’m on a plane to Texas (death row)…” - working with @PabloTorre, in a nutshell.
"There's a shockingly large amount of death row prisoners who use [their last words] to shout out their favorite sports teams." @FlemFile visited one Dallas Cowboys fan who's fighting for his life on death row, and who has maintained his innocence while living in solitary…

Why would someone use their last words to shout: “How ‘Bout Them Cowboys?!” It took years but we found the answer and it will shock, and sadden, you and change the way you think of sports.

I feel myself preparing to leave this app and I’m just glad that World’s Largest Kaleidoscope content got in at the buzzer.
Not sure that was her intention, but @katienolan is really selling us on visiting the world's largest kaleidoscope. 😂 Full episode: youtu.be/AJR1C_cSLUM
