This driver was stopped in #Hillington Industrial Estate by #GlasgowRP where it transpired they didn't have any insurance. A #COFPN issued-6 points & £300, in addition there will be associated fees for getting the car back - plus the increase in insurance costs! #InsureItOrLoseIt

Vehicle stopped in Bo'ness by #StirlingRP. Insurance Policy cancelled in October. Vehicle seized. 6 points and £300 fine for driver. #OpDriveInsured

#FifeRP observed both of these vehicles being driven in the Levenmouth area. It turns out that both drivers did not have a driving licence or insurance to drive the vehicles. The drivers will be reported to @COPFS and vehicles were seized.

#TaysideRP are taking part in #OpDriveInsured this week. This vehicle was stopped in the Letham area of Perth and found to have no insurance. The vehicle was seized and driver issued with a conditional offer of 6 points and a £300 fine. #Dontriskit

#FifeRP have been carrying out speed checks on Queensferry Road, Dunfermline. A number of drivers were stopped for speeding. Two drivers were issued a fixed penalty of £100 and 3 points for doing 55mph and 58mph in the 40mph limit. #fatal5

#StirlingRP patrolling on A91, Stirling. Moving vehicle check on van revealed it had no MOT. An inspection of vehicle raised suspicions the van was overweight. Driver escorted to weighbridge, which showed van weighed 1360kg over its limit. Driver will be reported. #DriveSmart

The driver of this vehicle was stopped on #Keppochill Rd by #GlasgowRP due to the excessively tinted windows. A quick check revealed a 95% tint - only allowing 5% of light through! Driver reported to @COPFS for Driving a Vehicle in a Dangerous Condition. @DVSAEnforcement

The #NationalMotorcycleUnit carried out a joint operation earlier with @Edin_Licensing in #Edinburgh city centre. During the operation both Taxis & Private hire vehicles were stopped. Offences identified were dealt with by means of fixed penalty notices and/or corrective advice
