A powerful reminder of the importance of #Remembrance from the St Mary’s Priory school magazine ‘Peeps of Princethorpe’. Dr Dawes, who had lost his own son in the war, unveiled the Princethorpe War Memorial on 18 September 1922. #ArmisticeDay #EYARemembrance

It’s #IceCreamDay! As this extract from 'Peeps of Princethorpe' magazine shows, ice cream was definitely a much-appreciated treat for the St Mary’s Priory schoolgirls in July 1963 🍨 #SchoolArchive #ExploreYourArchive

It's always a bit sad seeing an empty display case... but term has ended at @PrincethorpeCol, so it's time for the archives to be safely returned to their climate-controlled strongroom. Planning is already underway for our next exhibition - watch this space! #SchoolArchive

This month’s #ExploreYourArchive theme is ‘outside’ – and here at @PrincethorpeCol we certainly have no shortage of wonderful outdoor areas to explore! This image from our St Mary’s Priory days shows some of the schoolgirls enjoying a quiet moment in the Lime Walk. #EYAOutside
