To reduce that number, as well as the prison population, we are working to create legislation that safely reduces unnecessary and expensive incarceration while improving public safety, bolstering our workforce, and strengthening families.

Commonsense probation reform in #Pennsylvania means rewarding/encouraging behavior that reduces recidivism, by shortening probation periods for those who have earned a high school diploma/ GED, educational degree, vocational certificate, or completed an educational course.

Common sense probation reform means reducing restrictions on traveling for the 280,000 Pennsylvanian’s currently under state supervision. By allowing temporary travel we can allow people on probation more chances to improve their lives + support their families. RT if you agree.
