I skied @skiwildcat for the first time ever this afternoon and was super impressed! Even with limited open terrain, the slopes felt empty and I was able to fit in 20k+ vertical feet and 20+ miles of skiing in only 3.5 hours. That view of Mt. Washington was pretty impressive too…

Out in CO right now for a change of pace and scenery. The 15+ inches of snow we’ve received since last night definitely made today a fun (and exhausting) day! Unfortunately didn’t get any good pictures from today bc I was too busy skiing, but here’s some scenery from yesterday…
The new Timbertown Quad and terrain pod is a great addition to @loonmtn! Good variety of terrain for the beginner/intermediate, and on quiet days folks can get a lot of laps in too. I might not be the target audience for this expansion but still had fun exploring the new trails…
Remember when you could just wake up and decide to go skiing? Now you’ve got to plan a week or more in advance for parking, deal with heinous traffic, wait for a bus that’s already full, listen to resorts scream at you to carpool, only to arrive and wait in huge lift lines.
Just picked up a leftover 2023 pair of Nordica Unleashed 98’s from @TheSkiMonster today for 50% off and am way too excited!! I’m thinking this will be my daily driver in the Rockies this season + a playful, soft snow ski for midwinter back East once we get some accumulation…😊
