Who would have guessed… the Gingerbread Man has escaped from the oven and has ran away! The children have been busy making maps and posters to help them find him!
Yesterday the children were busy making a Gingerbread Man for us all to enjoy eating at snack time. He is currently baking in the oven…

Class 3 have learnt lots about Remembrance day today. They were very respectful holding a 1 minute silence at 11 o’clock this morning whilst watching the CBeebies animation for Armistice Day. #overchurchhistory

This week we have introduced our first Drawing Club text. The children loved drawing the characters and creating their own ‘code’ to make something magical happen to their character. #overchurchenglish
This morning the children in Class 3 spotted something very strange as they walked into school. In the outdoor classroom they found various objects that were not there yesterday! The children enjoyed discussing what they found!
We had a perfect #OverchurchForestSchool trip with a special treat @Overchurch3 were amazing with listening and following the instructions. Well done @Overchurch3 !

This week we have been colour mixing on the creative table, cutting and joining on the workshop, weighing and exploring capacity on the maths table and practising our mark making.
This morning we found some ingredients and a letter from Forest Fern. We read the story ‘Pumpkin Soup’ and then followed the instructions carefully, chopping the vegetables ready to make pumpkin soup in the forest this afternoon! #overchurchdt
