This conference helped me realise I needed to go back to the African tech scene. The @OurNewAfrica team pulled something amazing together in a very short period of time. Can't wait to hear about this one

So remember what we tried to do with @OurNewAfrica 2 years ago? This year, um, we're trying to do something bigger 😅 We need your support to make it happen 🙏🏾 please read more details in the attached and if you're interested to speak, sign up here: bit.ly/ARC22C4S

We had @OurNewAfrica last year but could not do it this year. Maybe next year we can do a hybrid event. It has to be in Rwanda because that's the only country that's got progressive visa policy towards all Africans and an airline that flies to all "four corners"

Super excited to see talented digital artists cast amazing, techno-progressive visions of the continent’s future! Crypto is an amazing medium for techno-progressives from around the world to come together to build! Really excited about this. More to come from @OurNewAfrica

Using visual art to imagine a shared new future is an incredibly powerful idea It is something I am working towards doing in / for India as well The goal is to eventually build an optimistic Indian sci-fi transmedia universe But for now👇🏾

This is something @patrickc talked about during the "Building the Internet Economy" panel at the @OurNewAfrica conference earlier this year. "...it’s harder to reason about what *could be happening* if it was easier..." youtu.be/7YaBbBVcZmk 👇

Hey everyone 👋🏾 The videos from the event last month are finally up: youtube.com/channel/UC58r6… Sorry that we couldn't get all of them recorded, we had a failure of technology on the day. ☹️ Please like, RT and share if you enjoyed them. ♥️

I had so many mental questions about her Canadian accent but decided to keep it cool. I wonder what's going to happen on Friday 😬

In an @OurNewAfrica panel, we were talking about the perception of quality of African products. I asked since tech startups in Nigeria, for example, are operating in difficult environments, if their products work doesn't that, in and of itself, make them high quality? 👇
