Fabulous afternoon in the KCC for the @Lonely__Tourist album launch gig. The faded glamour of the old snooker room was perfect for a raucously received set of songs

So glad that you liked The Lovely Basement. We’re so lucky that we get to see them in Bristol so often.

Thank you for another amazing weekend. You make it look so easy, but I’m sure it’s not! Personal highlight was undoubtedly The Bluebells, & The Lovely Basement possibly my “discovery” of the weekend. However, every band brought something magical to the stage. See you next year!❤️

Just back from resistance-controlled territory in Myanmar w/ @Kate_Arno We met Gen Z guerrillas fighting a brutal military regime - against all odds they’re forcing the junta into retreat Great to write about the trip in the @thetimes today ⬇️ thetimes.co.uk/article/321507…

It was quite encouraging to hear on the news that only 11% of people think lowering tax is a priority. Shows how desperately out of touch the Tories are. It’s their only plan. They have nothing left to offer.

What a lovely gift for @tomorybristol when he stepped down from being the Bryan Munich Manager ⚽️

I had my Jurgan Klopp moment back in 2010 when I decided to step down as manager of Bryan Munich. What a team we had. I knew I could step aside with a fantastic squad in place for the boss

Just saw @RishiSunak claiming that “everyone” wants to pay less tax. Actually,I’d rather have decent public services. Rather that councils were properly funded to provide local services. That public sector workers were paid properly. That we had a uk dental service. Tax is needed

A vision of the future? A preview of the first day at the new home of Gloucestershire Cricket #GoGlos …toppedplayinspectionat3.wordpress.com/2023/12/06/a-g…

So lucky to get last minute tickets for this wonderful evening. So much joy and love and the most beautiful music.

So I wrote a setlist for a rainy Tuesday evening in Bath. But we were met by a spring Friday audience. Had to change the Setlist midflight. Wonderfully uplifting evening with Orch 22 and The Manchester Inspirational gospel choir.
