Colossians 2:9 "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; & you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality & power." We bear His name in baptism, we share in His life & resurrection through baptism. Power & authority is in the name not the titles.
These are titles but His name is Jesus. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Phillipians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a SON is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. (Pay close attention to the names He was called) And His name will be called Wonderful, COUNSELOR (aka HS), MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER , Prince of Peace.
Was this a misunderstanding? A blatant disregard for Jesus' command? Absolutely not. See Jesus did not always speak explicitly, a lot of the times He spoke with hidden meanings behind His messages, that's why He used a lot of parables. Who is the Father, Son & HG? Jesus.
Not many days after the great commission, Peter stood up in Acts 2:38 after the inauguration of the Holy Spirit and said, '...repent everyone of you and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ'. Paul, Cornelius, the Eunuch & every other baptism in the NT followed this pattern.
You have to ask yourself this... Why did Jesus in Matt 28:19 clearly tell the disciples to 'baptize in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost,' yet not a single one of them did. They all baptised in the name of Jesus Christ, yes and even Paul too baptised in Jesus' name...
The truth is, no matter how hard you try, someone is going to judge you, someone is going to talk badly about you, someone is not going to like you. Don’t waste another day trying to get their approval. You don’t need their validation. Almighty God has already approved you.
