DRAWBRIDGE! A wingman map for @CounterStrike released! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi… This is my first true competitive map, which I hope turned out pretty okay. One of the challenges was to do this map wo any 3rd party 3d software, and I'm glad that Hammer gives a lot of flexibility!


Found my hl2 review from 10 years ago. Going to update it every 10 years then.

It's been a while since we've shown progress on our flagship project Boulder. We are actively working on the first alpha version. Later today we will show some impressive shots of the map. For now - a bit of work on the 3D sky.

Wooden fences as a smartprop for Fachwerk. I really like the randomness of these little things. Will add different plank types and damaged variants later. This version also have good clipping which will not allow player to stick on uneven planks and will not allow to jump over it

I don't think this is the type of minigame you are all waiting for. All map types except standard usually embedding inside other vpks or inside panorama. I would bet it's for making things like a small puzzle game for unlocking padlocks which would pop up when press the button.

Something big may be coming to Counter-Strike 2. There's a new map type in the worldspawn entity called "Minigame". Will we finally get custom game modes similar to Dota 2's Arcade?

Ever wondered how to set up breakable glass in Counter-Strike 2? We shipped an uncompiled example file with the latest patch. You can open it in ModelDoc to recreate the setup. \workshop\content_examples\breakable_glass\breakable_glass_01.vmdl

Pushed some updates to Fachwerk before it goes to @MapcoreHub on @FACEIT on Friday. Improved lighting, small but important changes to both sites, and you can see new buildings at T spawn by yourself.
