My people. I rarely ask for things or be vulnerable on this platform. For the UK working context, please, I need the support of a union rep, lawyer and any reinforcement/advice possible. Please.

Such a wholesome check in with @AdomOpare today. Attended a seminar and it was amazing to connect back with the cohort and the banter 🤣🔥🔥

I have my PhD thesis down. Just been scared to submit it. It means I have to accept and process my aunt’s passing. She won’t be there for grad. I would give anything to have her hug me now. Even for a second

"The worst thing about having ambitions is if they remain unfulfilled. If someone has the aptitude and the desire, they should absolutely aim high.” 💀. With limited funding surely ambitions are dololo. @EdinburghUni 👀

How do we disrupt systems and decolonize/ask radical questions above our pay-grade? What sacrifices does one make? For career, journal and eloquence that reeks Africa. Guilt. Massa.. see me. 👀💀 get your money though

At @africanstudies sent the students another funding update and 🤣🤣💀💀💀. A whole “African Studies” department 💀💀. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Let me behave and mind my business.

I have 2 chapters done for my doctorate. To submit and send them off to my supervisors means early stages of finishing my doctorate. Without my aunt. And everything doesn’t make sense. It hurts. Pain. Every where.
