Hideki Kamiya said that sometimes for a project he likes to use keywords to help guide & unite the staff. For Devil May Cry the keywords were “Stylish Hard Action” and during checks he was like “more ‘Stylish’” with Viewtiful Joe the keyword was “Viewtiful” lol

Some tips on keeping tiny game tiny. A: write down no more than three simple specific features you want your game to be loved for. B: design out these things first. C: then expand the document, anything that does not support or highlight these things is marked optional.

#gamedev I once again am thinking about making a tiny tiny game and am requesting ideas/advice on how to not try to turn everything into a huge project.
