Every so often people buy Cricket Coach 2014 from the most random of places, the last places you would imagine cricket fans would live.
NotebookLM might well be the greatest thing Google have ever released. I tested it with a long form article in Spanish, it gave me a 7 minute podcast in English. The quality was excellent, as good as a typical human. Took 4 minutes to process, was free!

A great uBlock Origin tip is the 'block element' feature. Right click on any part of a site, click 'Block element', then drag the sliders until the element is highlighted. You will no longer see that section on the site. I do this for 'trending' topics. Which are distracting.

I've read a lot about the #Apple #VisionPro but nothing quite as detailed and carefully written as this by @daringfireball daringfireball.net/2023/06/first_… Definitely worth a read if you're interested in it. It sounds even better than I thought.
The problem here is not so much that it's wrong (it gets 1996 confused with 1995), but that it's convincingly wrong. How will we ever trust answers AI gives unless we verify them ourselves? Seems to me like the best use case for AI is in areas where the answer is subjective.

Recently somebody asked me what editor I code in. @Neovim is the answer. As for languages, C++ for @ccgamesim, PHP for my SaaS software. A MacBook Air M1 is my daily driver, usually connected to a 27" for dual screen. I use a 60% keyboard by @Razer, the Huntsman Mini.

That little DocuSign rant there was one of these things about the world that blows my mind. I think I'm going to tweet those things, in the hope that someone else out there is on the same wavelength. TL;DR - the world does 'digitally signing PDFs' in an absurdly insecure way.
