While the sandwich bread cools, here’s a #BreadFunFact - You’ve heard “the best thing since sliced bread?” When sliced bread was first sold in the '20s, its slogan was “the greatest forward step in baking since bread was wrapped.” #freshbread #shoplocal #orlandoflorida

Formaggio & Friends, the SoDo wine/cheese spot, uses our bread for everything - including a crabcake sandwich and the escargot special. Gwen and Christopher will also order our baguettes and pastries - fresh to pick-up in south Orlando. What's better than bread, wine and cheese?

Shannon and Janice here - Fridays, we wear purple to celebrate people we’ve lost. For us, it’s our friend, Frankie. Purple is her color. Her infectious smile, sparking laugh, and overflowing positivity live on. Wear purple for the ones you miss too! #FrankieFriday #wearpurple

Notice how every bag of groceries on TV has a baguette sticking out the top? You can do it too! Stop by the 3 Central Florida @WholeFoods or farmers markets around town for a fresh, fresh skinny loaf. Our baguettes come wrapped, but we went “au naturel” for the clout! #asseenontv

Owners Shannon and Janice love dinner at The Strand and love our name over the door with all the other local suppliers. That night, The Strand had a pan con tomate with our bread, but the “toast” changes depending on what’s looking good. #mills50 #orlandofoodie #shoplocal

Today is National Doughnut Day, but we don’t fry - so enjoy our baked bear claw! Our first pastry chef never added the little toe cuts, so it became our thing. If you miss the notches, think of it as an almond croissant! #nationaldoughnutday #nationaldonutday #bearclaw #pastries

Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. on Park Avenue in Winter Park does breakfast and lunch, seven days a week, using our bread! We’re big fans of the soup and sandwich combo - plus a coffee drink to get us through the afternoon. @barniescoffee @parkavenuewp #winterparkfl #orlandofoodie

Our marble rye sandwich bread twists together pumpernickel and New York-style rye, great as a Reuben or just toast with butter. Made with our own all-natural rye starter, here’s a look behind-the-scenes with Delores and José. #marblerye #pumpernickel #nopreservatives #freshbread

We just call them tarts, but they pop with flavor! We load flaky pie crust with raspberry, cinnamon and apple, guava, or cinnamon roll filling and wrap them individually for farmers markets and shops that sell our pastries. If you don’t see them, ask for them!

Maybe a beer and pretzel this weekend? When Orlando brewers are done making beer, we take the grain and use it in soft pretzels for extra texture. @BrewingTen10 @ravpig @AlestoneBrewing @imperium @GaylordPalms

Smoke & Donuts uses our buns for oak-smoked barbecue sandwiches at both the brick and mortar location on N. Primrose Drive and at UCF. We love you can get fries or switch to a side like green beans with brown butter and smoked chile pepper. Stop in and say “hi” to Chef Ian!

Brioche is traditionally baked with butter and milk, making it rich and airy. We bake brioche rolls and sandwich bread and braided loaves, but this is our vegan panbrioche bun made with coconut milk and a little turmeric for color. Both are wonderful for a sandwich or with jam.

Deon, our pastry chef, wanted to do this since she was a kid. For kindergarten career day, she made a chef puppet that she still has today! Growing up in Deltona, Deon studied Baking and Pastry Arts at Lake Technical College before coming to us and making fantastic croissants!
