As ever, @MCSOxford held a moving Remembrance Day Service at school. Pupils stood as the names of fallen OWs were read out. The cap and armband of OW Captain Noel Chavasse (1884-1917) VC & Bar, the most highly decorated British officer of WWI, were displayed on the altar.

Over the summer, two MCS pupils Daniel and George (both Fifth Form) competed in the 2024 RS Feva World Championships🏆 The boys represented their school and country at the event in the Netherlands, with competition split across five days of racing ⛵

Many congratulations to Noah (J4) who has won the English National Youth Chess Championships! 🎉♟ After what he described as 3 “epic” days in Nottingham this weekend, he scored 4.5 from 5 classical games and was named U12s champion 🏆👏
