Player development has changed over the years. Past, players like Robbie Keane or Wes Hoolahan largely took ownership of their own development. Today players rely more on structured training. IMO closing the development gap means finding ways of increasing contact hours.

In my opinion key details instantly affect a player. Using the arm as a barrier versus a quick centre forward, the height the arm is raised to effect momentum, that's an impactful detail! There is no "small detail", only impactful or non impactful ones!
