Fourth grade students @ojrsdnc are working on understanding and navigating Dash robots. Ask them about Dash features!


This week we began our robotics unit. The @OwenJRobertsEV students learned to safely navigate a roundabout with their Dash robots.


Fourth and Fifth graders at @WVElementary learned about block coding using @scratch . They learned how to customize sprites, code to change the color and size of their sprites, and added sounds.

We began our coding unit this week. @OwenJRobertsEV students used critical thinking, persistence, and problem solving skills to complete unplugged coding challenges. Next week, we begin coding in Scratch!

It’s #DotDay2022 and Mrs. Seuffert’s class @OwenJRobertsEV completed a related STEAM challenge. The kids created dot candy structures after reading the book “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. Very creative! @Ojrscience

5th graders at @WVElementary got creative today building a home in outer space from Magnatiles and a Chihuahua out of K’Nex. They worked on their collaboration skills and had to adjust and adapt when their plans changed. @ojrscience
