@NurieeCowanEmpowering You, Today to break free from obstacles, build resilience & achieve self-actualization 🦋 • The Journey Starts With You 👏🏼
The tone (delivery) you use when you speak to people will either cause them to flock to you or flee from you, inspire them or crush their spirit. Choose wisely. They might never forget how you made them feel.
Many who become rich lose their wealth quickly. Achieving a goal isn't enough; maintaining success requires character. Success demands: ‣ Integrity ‣ Perseverance ‣ Resilience Work hard not just to achieve success, but to become someone who can sustain it.
You have to BECOME the person who has what you desire to have. Become the person who has already attained those goals. No one else can do it for you. Everyone has their own life and problems. Your job is to figure out how to make the most of the time you're here on earth.
You won't always receive a 'Thank You.' Ignorance blinds the eyes of people from seeing the wisdom standing in front of them. What you say or do for someone could be so instrumental to their growth that they never forget you and come back years later to express their gratitude.
Most people encourage you to quit because they want to see you fail. Not everyone that smiles in your face is your friend. Not everyone that cheers you on is rooting for you. Be careful not to announce your goals and vision to others. Keep them to yourself while you build.
Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to realize it's not where you want to be.
Fall in love with the process of becoming the highest version of yourself and do what you need to do today so you don't resent yourself tomorrow.
It's harder to achieve a goal outside your comfort zone if you don't shift your identity first. You have to shift your identity to be like that of a person that's already achieved that goal. Create Goal > Create plan to get there > Shift identity > Achieve goal ✅
Remain focused on your goal in spite of the detours you may face along the way so you don't abort your mission early. There is a purpose we are all meant to fulfill on earth. It would be naive of us to think the journey will never have obstacles. Increase your ability to endure.
Just start. You cannot become consistent if you never begin.
This too shall pass. Don't quit when you're overtaken by temporary defeat. You may stop 3 feet short of the goal you are seeking. Take a breather, but never give up. You will be one step farther away from where you were & one step closer to where you desire to be. Keep pushing!
I am not ordinary and never have been, but I am different. I do not conform to the status quo. I used to see not fitting in with everyone else as a disadvantage or a bad thing. The older I get, the more I see it for what it is. It is the ultimate blessing.
Your mind is your most powerful tool. It can hold you back or propel you forward. Train your mind to believe you already have what you desire. Visualize it, build it. Believe it, achieve it. It all starts with the mind.
Lesson I've learned: When you've done everything within your control and God is ready to promote you.. You don't have to put forth any effort to make things happen, the opportunity comes looking for you. Patience is key. Your faith will be rewarded.
The only person you should be going to war with is you. Strive to become 1% better every day. Time is the one thing we can never get back. There are no redos or rewinds. Make every day count. You still have 191 days left to make 2024 the best year of your life. See you at work!
