He must have found the neglected and partially hidden store rooms. Lucy got up and slug her arms around him, kissing all over his face. “Let’s decorate it together and maybe we can go out to find some greenery?” Even scrub could look pretty in a vase.

The surprise in the bag was enough to distract her from what he said, that cut a little too close to be bone. She gasped, delighted, and started to carefully remove the tree from the bag and shake it out. “It’s perfect!”
