If you can, listen to Martha Karua's CTA interview. You'll realize that we are fighting the same battle people were fighting during Kenyatta's time. Not even Moi. And guess what? The state is responding in the exact same way. Here is a thread of similarities🧵

Kasmuel Mcoure: The President has time without number called for dialogues but I am inclined to believe that he is only giving us lip service, he is not interested in any form of dialogue. We demand that the people who have been arrested and abducted be released unconditionally…

I'm almost thinking we might have to buy these books and stock up personal libraries before it becomes "treasonous" to read this kind of literature. We know this script. We can see it.

Imagine if this happens the kids won't be able to read Mstahiki Meya, Kidagaa Kimemuozea, Kifo Kisimani and the likes 🥲? They know what they're doing and we can't watch it happen. Fasihi ni kioo cha jamii and we need it to ensure we stay informed and educated. #RutoMustGo

I am truly impressed. We’ve only used up KES 13.8M from the KES 30M m-changa we contributed. All these people have been assisted & this goes to show that we have an expenditure NOT a revenue problem. Budgeted corruption is expensive & should be dealt with.

This is the current breakdown, with 13,800,00 used and others reflecting tomorrow. Of course with receipts as well. Now show me anything like this with your corrupt bosses. Send your number I’ll send you money from my own pocket. Refuse to be used with 527!!!

But why can't Kenyans be let to protest peacefully and then go home after that in one piece? Is that too much to ask for? What is this thirst to use force and to see blood. Are ordinary citizens really the enemy? 😢
