yes, we are aware women menstruate. but not all do. some trans men also menstruate. some trans women don’t menstruate. that does not mean anyone is less of a man or less of a women. you do not need to get your period in order to be a women.

Ultimately, it’s going to be up to a new generation of activists to shape strategies that best fit the times. But I want to highlight some basic lessons from past efforts that are worth remembering:
