For our wow day this half term, class 3 and 4 took part in a mini Olympic games. We then learnt about when and where the Ancient Greeks were from.

Class 4 have had a busy week with STEM day (where we got to interview a real engineer from Ford) DT (tasting ingredients to make scones next week) and 6 amazing children came FIRST in their bowling competition! Wow

Yesterday, North Cave had their first, whole school wow day to celebrate our new topics. Class 3 and 4 enjoyed orienteering, learning new map reading skills and creating sketch maps.

This morning, class 4 have been investigating substitution in algebra. We used the emoji worksheet and cubes to replace numbers before substituting the numbers with letters in our independent work #NorthCaveMaths

On Wednesday, our Y5/6 football team played in the FINAL of the Humberside Football Finals. We came 5th in all, pipped to the 4th spot by some tight maths! Here we are enjoying a pre-game lunch and listening to football songs to get us in the spirit!
