Good news from @LCD911 Be advised that 9-1-1 service has been fully restored in Litchfield County. Remember to use this number strictly for emergencies. Please do not call 9-1-1 to test the service. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the lines open.

Norfolk VFD on standby and responding to numerous trees and wires down. We urge that folks do not drive or walk across any barriers in place in order "to get a better view".

The remnants of Hurricane Debby are making things interesting here in the NW Corner. Along with downpours and wind gusts bringing down trees and power lines, Litchfield County is now under a Tornado Watch until 10 p.m.
