Ask yourself what's more likely: COVID-19 is unlike any pandemic in the history of our earth causing increasing immunosuppression with each infection until our species ceases to exist. Or. This is the first major pandemic in the social media age where everyone has a platform.
I really don't get how so many people believe Labour would be worse than the current Tory government. How the hell could it be any worse? I'm pretty sure you could put secondary school kids in charge and it would be a major improvement.
People are hilarious. The gang who told you Twitter is a private company that can ban whoever it wants are now raging about Twitter banning people they like. AND The gang who demanded free speech for everyone are now celebrating Twitter banning people they don't like. 🤣
I wish people would stop making noisy laptops do updates and other random processes when you have the lid closed at night. It's gonna piss me off and I'll turn it off at the button if it wakes me up. I don't care if it ruins the update, that's your fault
Most quote tweets are used to take what people said out of context. You would look like a moron doing that in a normal conversation
Sometimes this country looks like it hasn't changed much in 300 years and it's actually a good thing. Couldn't get the tree out the way as I'm stuck in my room feeling sick as a dog.
It might sound odd, but the conversation of energy into mass will be the most important invention of the entire human era. Even if it doesn't create excess energy (ala fusion), the ability to create larger elements from smaller ones or even pure energy is a game changer.
my god the trains in this country are so bad. there's probably not been a single day in the last two months where trains haven't been cancelled, delayed, or i've had to stand up packed like a sardine for an hour on my way to work. everything about this country is rotten
