Great start to the @AAOS1 meeting.I was honored to present my latest biomechanical study investigating the effectiveness of LET at the time of ACLR to mitigate the negative ramifications of excess posterior tibial slope . Thanks to @brownorthodept @UnivOrtho for the support!

All important reasons to counsel our patients on the importance of early rom after acl injuries! Thanks to @brownorthodept for the support in completing this project!

Patients with stiffness prior to ACL reconstruction are at an increased risk of experiencing postoperative stiffness, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, surgical-site infection, and septic knee arthritis after ACLR (P < .05 for all) See more here! ow.ly/yjPo50POsbf

PLT is a viable and safe autograft option to consider for reconstructive procedures in the setting of limited autograft options. Was great to work on this with @M_Quinn2020 and @BrettOwensMD . Nice job Matt! @brownorthodept

Visual Abstract Alert! This study showed that PLT autograft routinely produced adequately sized grafts with comparable early outcomes to HT autograft and low risk of donor site morbidity. Is there any role for PLT autograft in your practice? ow.ly/Wza450Q4eLY

Our study demonstrates sig variation in post-op protocols following stabilization for PSI suggesting the lack of a current “gold standard“ protocol. Further research is needed to make evidence based recommendations on rehabilitation protocols! @BrettOwensMD @brownorthodept

Review of rehab protocols following posterior shoulder stabilization demonstrates high variability among ACGME-accredited orthopaedic programs and their affiliates, suggesting a standard protocol for rehabilitation has yet to be established. Read more: ow.ly/CbPt50OGNgF
