Finally made it to a church service in person again. So grateful for how much God has done in my life this year! Also, out of the blue, my dad asked if he could come too, so I said yes. He's been having some struggles lately, so good to spend time together.
Why must so many things in life compete for attention to draw away from each other?... 😬 I just want to embrace every passion I have, and have a beautiful recipe resulting... Oh well, at least I'm enjoying life more and making money. Sometimes we can't ask for much more... 😅
Today's insight: Chess taught me that while the hardest hobbies in life start with A LOT of failure, if you can learn to expect that and pace yourself and keep yourself healthy... eventually it can open some of the most beautiful and rewarding territories that life has to offer.
