In the Wye and Severn areas, we have 79 times more chickens than people! Is it any wonder the manure mountain is a far bigger problem for us than human sewage? The factory farming of animals - happening behind walls - is a hidden killer of our rivers. theguardian.com/environment/20…

BANNED - govt announces it will ban all new licences to mine coal in the UK. Britain was first major economy to stop burning coal for power in October and has gone from generating around 40% of the UK’s electricity supply from coal in 2012 to 0% now.

Great event in Hay on Wye speaking and hearing from local businesses impacted by the pollution of the River Wye, from complaints of flies and odour, to businesses having to relocate further up the river. @LeighDay_Law #SavetheWye 🦢

Things have just got a lot more difficult . Here’s what I think . I had no control over what just happened . None . But I do have control over how I will react to it . And I am not going to give up on the beautiful and the good , the grip on my dreams just got tighter .
