It’s New Year’s Eve, I’m on night, we are parading with minimal numbers and I have the worst batch of flu ever. What could go wrong?
Sometimes this job can be really overwhelming. Today my hair bobble snapped and that was my tipping point 😂
Join policing they said, it’ll be glamorous they said! This week I’ve been called some VERY naughty names and had a man pull his pants down and give his hips a jiggle at me… apparently laughing at his ‘manhood’ wasn’t the response he was after 🤷🏼♀️🫣

This has been the darkest couple of days in policing I have experienced, we lost one of our own. But I tell you what, we are a family like no other. My ears are always open for those who need them💙
Fitness and first aid refresher completed over the two hottest days on record, i have more respect for our water firing friends than ever before working jobs in unimaginable heat 😅
I’d forgotten how much I love a bacon & sausage sandwich for breakfast / dinner pre nights 😍😂
Week 2 back on response is beckoning, I’m excited and all but who wants to start their working week on a Saturday morning?! 😭
