I'm tired of New Mexico, especially ABQ, being so violent. I'm also tired of everyone pointing fingers. It's everything. It's poverty. It's generational apathy in parenting. It's APD being terrible. It's a bad education system. We need to all work together to fix this shit.
Streets aren't safer because of apd, they're safer bc mutual aid, community organizing, and non profits working toward affordable housing, food security, and mental health/substance abuse programs put in the work. Streets are safer DESPITE apd.

No, it's greed. Companies like T&C have been buying all of the properties and then jacking up the prices, people flipping houses are taking advantage of the market because they can do so without paying any real tax penalty, and people from CA and TX are paying cash for homes.

Torrance County, NM cop Chad Wiston walked out in traffic at dusk wearing all black and then chose to break off the side mirrors of vehicles passing an accident. He should be FIRED!

If the wait staff at The Frontier ran law enforcement Albuquerque would he the safest city in the nation. The amount of bullshit they deal with everyday without anyone even noticing is extremely impressive.
