Neymar’s legacy for Brazil is astonishing. Everyone from the players, the coaches, to the entire country absolutely idolise him. To have that as a footballer is FAR more special than having an individual award that glorifies journalistic validation.

Absolutely. I think I mentioned the other week that if Savio played for us (and Yamal played for Girona), the former would pretty much unanimously be voted for the golden boy award, and people (of course) took that as a diss at Yamal and came at me.

Frenkie de Jong, Ryan Gravenberch, Tijjani Reijnders. Out of all National Teams we might actually have the best midfield in the world, and then there is still Teun Koopmeiners as well.
We’re at the point where no matter who we play, I wouldn’t be fully comfortable if Lamine isn’t in the XI. Not just because he’s an incredible footballer, but also because he’s a profile we just can’t replace - absolutely pivotal.
