It's a new working week and the wheels of production have been turning since the early hours with our first scour. We can source fibre from our British farming contacts so if you're looking to create a wool-based garment with traceability for next season we can help. #wool #yarns

Thanks to Laura for showing us these charming sock creatures when she collected some carded #waste from us recently. They're part of a local environmental art initiative called The Sockists Project and the carded waste will be used as stuffing: shop.thenaturalfibre.co.uk #craftivism

Our carded waste is produced during our carding process at the mill. This repurposed fibre can be used in many craft activities such as hand spinning, as stuffing and padding for cushions or toys, as insulation, packing or even soundproofing 🐑🐑: shop.thenaturalfibre.co.uk

We've replaced our Fearnought machine making the process of blending and teasing the fibre even quicker. Our production team have given it a lick of paint, to match the other machines in our mill, and it's looking smart and at home now 🐑🧶: enquiries@thenaturalfibre.co.uk
