Today PG&E is planning to shut off power to 143 customers in Northwest Napa County (north of Tubbs Road) from 6 PM to 7 AM tomorrow. A Community Resource Center is open for county residents from 8am-10pm at 1307 Washington Street in Calistoga.


Keep On Digging July 18th, a mini excavator, worth $30,000, was stolen from Napa County. But our Detectives were willing to "dig deep" to find this excavator. After 12 days, detectives recovered the heavy equipment in Sacramento. It was returned to the owner yesterday!

From CalFire: Smoke from a new fire in Colusa (Sites Fire) is making a big push into Napa. Therefore, you may see heavy smoke in Napa County.


Refrigerated food should be safe as long as the power was out less than 4 hours and the refrigerator door was kept shut. Discard perishable food (meat, poultry, fish, eggs, etc.) that's been in temperatures above 40° F for 2 hours.

Power Outages in several Bay Area Counties, including Napa County. PG&E is repairing downed power lines. Currently, there's no estimate for when the power will be restored throughout Napa County.

He's not a puppy anymore. Yesterday one of our deputies conducted a traffic stop just outside of Calistoga. During the stop, K-9 “Ruger” found 9 pounds of cocaine, with a street value of nearly $200,000. Two men were arrested, Benjamin Torres Meza and Edgar Rodriguez.
