I wrote a blog reflecting on my experience at the UN biodiversity @COP16Colombia . Despite limited progress in headline negotiations and weak international media coverage, I found it a moving and potentially highly significant event : naturerecovery.ox.ac.uk/news/cop16-col…

I’m proud to be joining a centre full of kind & hardworking Indian scholars working to make India’s numerous people, animals, rivers, grasslands, and forests, thrive in a sustainable world.

#1: Tanaya Nair is starting a DPhil in @oxfordgeography, specifically in the @OxfordEcosystem Lab. Her research interest is in biodiversity resilience, nature recovery and climate change expand across scale. She joins as one of the inaugural Amansa Scholars at the OICSD.

It's here! I'm starting a DPhil in Geography and Environment at @oxfordgeography @OxfordEcosystem as an Amansa scholar at @OxIndiaCentre As I soak in how supported I feel, I realise how following my dreams is much bigger than myself. I'm so grateful to be here.

We are hiring! How can we measure the ecological health and functionality of savanna ecosystems? How do we define degradation and nature recovery in such ecosystems? New postdoc position - a partnership between @NaturalStateOrg and @NatureRecovery : tinyurl.com/meht6kbw
